Gold quantity discounts: when does a larger order cost less per gram?

A lower unit tier can be offset by shipping, payment terms or a higher total outlay.

Dealers may quote one unit price for a single bar and another when several are purchased. The price tier applies only when the basket reaches its stated minimum. A one-item buyer should never be ranked using a ten-item unit price.

Compare total baskets

Multiply the eligible unit price by the number of identical products, then add the verified shipping charge once for that order. Divide by the total fine-gold grams for a per-gram figure. For example, five illustrative 1 g bars at $100 each plus $15 shipping cost $103 per fine gram; one at $105 plus $15 shipping costs $120 per fine gram. The five-item order still requires a much larger payment.

Check thresholds and limits

A free-shipping threshold, maximum purchase quantity, membership condition or payment restriction can change the calculation. Keep any warehouse promotion separate from direct-dealer rankings. Compare only offers that confirm stock for the selected quantity and destination.

Set quantity and payment method in the comparison. Its eligible subtotal is tied to the selected basket and verified shipping rule. Tax and possible Bitcoin network fees are outside that ranking. Confirm the seller’s checkout before placing an order.
